Jersey Boys...

(not to be confuse with the Jersey Shore - I know you were thinking that Mel Arnold and Chris Haines)

So saw Jersey Boys last night... um to be honest I am going to have to say i was ... disappointed.

WHAT i hear you all gasp. I dont know what it was about it. We had the understudy for Frankie Valli so perhaps that could have been part of it, but he was a very good Frankie so not sure. I felt the plot line perhaps lacked? and I think maybe the music wasnt my era - I wasnt bought up in the heart of The Four Seasons hits. Surprisingly I did know most of the songs - Sherry Baby, Walk like a Man, Big Girls dont cry, I love you baby...

So basically its the back story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Small town kids - go big. The highlight for me though was Bob Gaudio who was the song writer... he was pretty amazing!

It wasn't bad though, just not expectation meeting.
